Trone will also serve on the powerful House Appropriations Committee and the Joint Economic Committee. This appointment comes one week after Trone announced he was appointed to the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over the Department of Veterans Affairs.
