HAGERSTOWN, Md. – On Monday, Congressman David Trone (D-MD 6th District) opened up a new district office in Hagerstown.
It took three months before the federal government got the lease to set up this office.
Congressman Trone said he wants to think about the district and have four offices as opposed to the usual two, so he can focus on jobs, education, and the opioid crisis in western Maryland.
This new office is located at 1850 Dual Highway.
Appointments can be set for up any day, but the office hours are set for Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“If you are not in town, in Washington County we can’t help the folks here with their problems on VA, visas, social security. We are here for customer service, constituent service, we love to do it and I think we do it really well,” said Trone.
Aside from congressman Trone’s office in Washington D.C., he has district offices in Gaithersburg, Cumberland, Frederick and now of course, Hagerstown.
