Rep. David Trone Announces Social Media Photo Contest Winner
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman David Trone (MD-06) announced that Montgomery County resident Sue Moses won his social media cover photo contest. The contest was open to all constituents and required participants to submit photos or works of art that highlight the beautiful scenery in Maryland’s Sixth District.
“The contest was a nice reminder that there is so much beauty, diversity, and talent in Maryland,” said Congressman Trone. “My staff and I had a wonderful time looking through the photos we received, and I want to congratulate all of our finalists. Thank you to Ms. Moses for letting me use her lovely painting as my new cover photo.”

Sue Moses from Montgomery County painted the winning picture, entitled “Pennyfield Towpath.” The winning photo is Trone’s new Facebook and Twitter cover photo and was chosen by Trone and his staff. The top submissions were announced on Facebook at the end of last month and can be viewed here.
Congressman David Trone was elected to the House of Representatives in November 2018 to serve the 6th District of Maryland, which includes all or part of Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett Counties. Trone serves on the Appropriations, Veterans’ Affairs, and Joint Economic Committees in the 117th Congress and previously served on the Education and Labor and Foreign Affairs Committees. In Congress, Trone is fighting to make progress on issues that matter to Marylanders, including the mental health and addiction crises, criminal justice reform, and funding for medical research.
